How We Make This Happen
The Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT)
program allows the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to partner with private developers to unlock funding for critical repairs for development like Ocean Hill Apartments, Saratoga Village, Stuyvesant Gardens I and II and Bedford Stuyvesant Rehab.
Through PACT developments will be included in the federal Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) and convert to a more stable federally-funded program called Project-Based Section 8.
PACT ensures homes remain permanently affordable and residents have the same basic rights as they possess in the public housing program.
